CODE OF CONDUCT
While we conduct our business within the framework of applicable laws, regulations and internal policies, we also acknowledge that these laws, regulations and policies do not govern all types of behavior. This Code is based on our values and it takes them to the next level – demonstrating our values in action.
It is KSMPL Group policy to operate according to the highest standards of business. Its employees should not engage in any activity that might violate this policy, or their responsibilities at KSMPL Group.
This policy applies to all the Employees.
This policy provides guidelines to help KSMPL Group employees to make informed decisions on behalf of the organization and to maintain the KSMPL Group ethics across organization irrespective of employees or office.
Any deviation in policy, budget should be approved by HR, CEO and CMD.
HODs/Managers are responsible for the distribution, explanation, implementation of and compliance to this policy within their departments and across the organization.
Employees are expected to adhere to the policy. Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment. Legal proceedings may also be undertaken, if necessary, to recover any improper expenditures, personal profits, or monetary loss sustained by KSMPL Group.
An employee faced with a difficult decision should consider whether it could be criticized from a legal or ethical standpoint. KSMPL Group encourages employees to ask their seniors/HOD/HR Team if they have any questions concerning the policy.
Focus parameters LAY down in KSMPL Group codes of Conduct are as follows:
Payment to vendors, Bribes, payoffs, kickback, or other assets should not be used to support a political candidate, party or election organization unless legally permissible and approved by the organization in advance.
Conflict of Interest
Gift and entertainment: KSMPL Group employees should not accept gifts, favours or entertainment (in connection with KSMPL group) from a vendor, Non-KSMPL Group employees or outside organization unless:
· The item is consistent with norms and business ethics.
· It does not violate applicable laws.
· Its value is nominal (gift), are not unreasonable or excessive (favour, entertainment)
· It cannot be construed to be a bribe, payoff or kick back.
· Employees should contact the HOD/HR for clarification on any of these points.
· Acting against KSMPL Group’s Interest
KSMPL Group employees should not take personal advantage make available to others, any business opportunities that may be of interest to KRYSTAL MANUFACTURING PVT. LTD. These include, but are not limited to export orders, purchase of real estate or other property or any type of interest in an outside firm.
KSMPL Group employees should not commit or be a part of a dishonest act against KSMPL Group or any of its stakeholders (e.g. Fraud, theft, embezzlement or misappropriation or KSMPL Group assets). Disciplinary action will result and or a criminal complaint filed against the offending employee.
Confidentiality of KSMPL group information
KSMPL Group Employees/ Consultants/ Architects/ Short term employees/ Trainees should not disclose or use confidential information relating to KSMPL Group for personal gain. Confidential information comprises, but is not limited to the following unpublished financial data; business, marketing, financial or other plans and information relating to the design and development of KSMPL Group.
Acting against KSMPL Group’s Interest
KSMPL Group employees should not take personal advantage make available to others, any business opportunities that may be of interest to KSMPL Group. These include, but are not limited to export orders, purchase of real estate or other property or any type of interest in an outside firm.
